Learn about the fastest growing outdoor recreational activity in the world – GEOCACHING! Play – Learn – Cache.
Geocaching Unlimited is a geocaching consulting company providing custom designed geocaching activities for your group.
There is a real push today to get people off the couch, outdoors and active. Geocaching is a perfect outdoor activity, because it encourages people of all ages to experience exercise and fresh air as part of a year round activity.
Most people involved in geocaching are simply “playing the game.” However, geocaching is a very easy way to get everyone excited about using technology outdoors, and in a new and different way than they have ever done in the past.
Geocaching combines these things with exploring, treasure hunting, education, problem solving, team work/cooperation, nature studies, etc.
The website www.geocaching.com describes this activity as:
“a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world, by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors then share your experiences online. Geocaching is enjoyed by people from all age groups with a strong sense of community and support for the environment.”
Geocaching has over 5 million people participating, and over 1.6 million geocaches hidden worldwide. As a participant of the sport, and an educator I have discovered that it can also be used to enhance curriculum right across the board.
It is my goal to create an enjoyable, recreational experience geared to all age groups, and inspire participants to continue in the sport of recreational geocaching in the future.
Geocaching can be summarized in three words . . . “Play~Learn~Cache!”

Geocaching Quotes
Geocachers know . . . if you hide it, they will come!
I use multi-billion dollar military satellites to search for tupperware hidden in the woods.
I’m not lost, I’m geocaching!
“I can’t lie around and be lazy.
I am a Thing-Finder,
and when you’re a Thing-Finder
you don’t have
a minute to spare…
The whole world is full of things,
and somebody
has to look for them.”
~ Pippi Longstocking ~“Leave the beaten track occasionally and dive into the woods.
Every time you do so you will be certain
to find something that you have never seen before.”
~ Alexander Graham Bell ~
