There is a real push today to get kids off the couch and outside enjoying fresh air and exercise. Geocaching is an activity that can combine several different things such as exploring, treasure hunting, education, problem solving, team work/cooperation, nature studies and more.

Most people involved in geocaching are simply “playing the game.” This is, however, a very easy way to get kids, and adults excited about using technology outdoors and in a new and different way than they have ever done in the past.
